Trione

Your name is Trione (Tree/own). Upon the discovery of your conception, your parents met with the Dragon Registry to begin your designation pledge as a Dragoneer. At this appointment, some of your fetal cells are removed from your mother. They will be kept for use in merging these cells with cells from your future dragon. Based on your mother’s pregnancy, a dragon egg will be laid to be born near the time of your birth. What is remarkable is that your dragon is born within moments of your birth. The Dragon Registrars knew you were born before being told because of this uncanny timing.

The dragon’s name is given by your father, and he names him Ashiro, which means blessing.

Here you are wearing your Dragoneer Mask, created with your and Ashiro’s cells collected before you were both born. The eyes are yours, though your birth color was a copper-brown. It is common with Dragoneers that their eyes lighten. Old timers say it is because of the flames, however, you have no problem with your eyes. They are quite astute. In your mask, your eyes are broadcast to appear larger and wider apart than they appear on your actual face. The areas of black and white skin are designed to breathe and vent the mask. The 4 white circles below the nose are speakers to amplify your voice and create overlays to make your voice sound deeper and more threatening or to screech like a dragon. This is also the area closer to your actual mouth. Your mask’s large, white teeth are all for show. The small white bubbles that float around you are remote sensors you can deploy to investigate areas before you and Ashiro fly in. Remote sensors can also be programmed to deliver a message when it reaches a destination. You have various antennae at the top of your mask to sense your immediate surroundings. They are retractable, and here they are extended out a small amount. They can extend outward up to 20 ft. At the cheek area are gills in case you dive into water.

You dedicate your life to becoming and being a great Dragoneer. You are of an elite group of people privileged to be in the presence of dragons. The work you and Ashiro accomplish changes lives and helps save worlds. The two of you are bonded for life and will work together until retirement, or in the case of death, the partner is retired early. This is never a desired outcome as the longer the shared lives between a dragon and a Dragoneer can exist, the better the world can be.
